Artist: T. Sautelle Roberts. Born in Waterford City in 1760, T. Sautelle Roberts studied architectural training before becoming a landscape artist like his older brother Thomas. Following the early death of the latter in 1778, Sautelle assumed his brother’s name of Thomas. Well regarded by his fellow artists, T. Sautelle was unable to paint following damage to his shoulder sustained in a coaching accident in London in 1818. He died in 1826.
