A pair of hounds surrounded by ferns and other foliage. The hound on the left looks out at the viewer, while the one on the right is in profile and looks to the left. Dated c. 1879 (inscription on reverse).
Artist: Johnathan (Johnathon) Lovett Bennett. he exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy between 1874 and 1886.
