Edwardian (1901-1910), mahogany wardrobe.
This breakfront wardrobe has four compartments and four centrally placed drawers.
The geometric marquetry is in a Hepplewhite style .
George Hepplewhite (died 1786, London) was an English cabinetmaker and furniture designer. Unfortunately little is known of his life and works. Hepplewhite’s reputation largely stems from his publication, Cabinet-Maker and Upholsterer’s Guide (1788), which contained nearly 300 designs for furniture and other furnishings.
