This high-quality sideboard has tapered, barley-sugar twisted legs and a carved and pierced up-stand.
The Hall Chairs, which flank the sideboard on either side, are also of oak with front tapered, barley-sugar twisted legs. Each has a paneled back with barley-sugar twisted sides.
In total there are six of these Hall Chairs on the Main Landing. Probably mid 19th Century in date.
